This article is little bit old and it did work in old version of Wordpress. Why do you try using DISQUS like the one I am using in my blog. It just a plugin and it help with all the spam that Wordpress sometimes does not have. The disadvantage is that all your comments will be stored in DISQUS and not wordpress database.

In Windows 8 you have to download the right version of Java (64 or 32bit) and then make sure you right-click on RemoveDeadTracks.js and then open with "Microsoft Windows Based Script Host". It work just fine for me.

There is a command from DOS command can be combined with MySQL language.

So it will be something like:

SET FolderPath=C:\MySQLData\

INTO OUTFILE % FolderPath%Out _%random%.csv

I have not tested so I am sure if it will work. The value is %random%.

The file ExportDWData.BAT may not work if the folder name where you want to export the data or the path to MySQL directory has spaces. If it has spaces you have place inside of double quotes (E.g.: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin")
